Sun is just about to crest behind Ute Mountain, in Utah, and illuminate Mule Canyon. This site is a few miles east of Natural Bridges National Monument, and part of the Bears Ears recreation area.
A lonely fall leaf clings to a wet volcanic rock under Oneonta Falls. Sadly, this area is no longer safe to visit, after the Eagle Creek Fire destroyed the canopy and softened the rockwalls of this gorgeous slot canyon.
